The 2016 edition of our annual re-enactment covered Operation Avalanche , the invasion of mainland Italy by the allies in September 1943. Once again the village of Torrebesses was the setting. Unfortunately windy and rainy weather made this reenactment difficult , we are thankful to the participants who plodded on and performed so nicely as can see in  the photos enclosed.
